Upright, our bodies move less meaning a greater potential for treatment accuracy

We spend most of our lives standing or sitting, our most natural positions. Some studies suggest that, when upright, our internal organs move less than when lying down, potentially leading to greater radiation beam accuracy during treatment while sparing surrounding healthy tissue.

More comfort for patients

We spend a lot of time listening to clinicians and patients, hearing how being upright would help some patients who struggle with lying down due to health problems or cancer related symptoms.

Feeling more in control

Patients have shared with us that their treatment journeys are extremely vulnerable times. Even the smallest moments of feeling in control can be empowering. Our focus will always be to find a more human way to treat cancer, and it begins with how patients feel during treatment.
